2024 Rallye Elbflorenz
The route on this second day includes a tour of around 230 kilometres, which ends on the Fichtelberg in Oberwiesenthal begins, about Carlsbad and Frantiskovy Lazne and then to Oberwiesenthal returns. Organized by the DDV Media Group, which also organizes other events such as the CC Rallye Sachsen powered by GRUMA, the Rallye Elbflorenz is a tourist excursion that not on top speeds, but on the driving experience and the beauty of the region.
The rally consists of three main components:
- Exciting and scenic route: The drivers experience the beauty of our Ore Mountains region on remote roads, far from main and federal roads. The driving is “old school” according to Atlas, i.e. without modern technical aids or electric navigation systems.
- Networking and community: The event is the perfect place for like-minded people to exchange ideas, have petrol talks and make contacts – whether private or business.
- Contest: The participants must demonstrate their driving skills in regularity tests, find and confirm checkpoints using the road book, and comply with time controls. The team that most accurately adheres to the specified target times wins the rally. The vehicles start at intervals of 30 to 60 seconds so that there is no mass start.
Experience the fascination of Rallye Elbflorenz and be there when history hits the streets! With a bit of luck, there will even be a so-called transit checkpoint in Rittersgrün, where participants will receive a stamp in their boarding pass. But that is not yet certain.
