In 1966, the 1967 model year of the Chevrolet Camaro was presented. And the hood had a 396 V8 engine with a factory 375 hp and on top of that, the 302 V8 with around 400 hp. These vehicles are extremely sought after these days, even if not everyone likes the Camaro engine. And the V8 was apparently less popular with the owner of this vehicle. The pro-touring build from the tuner “Roadster Shop” is a one-off instead of the good old Chevy engine Restomod, a Boat engine from Mercury Racing under the hood. And that is an engine with the code name SB4. It rotates up to an impressive 8.000 rpm and achieves a performance of fierce with a compression ratio of 11,7: 1 750 PS. So roughly that double performance from the 396 V8 engine. No precise key data on the acceleration values are known, but that of the Camaro at the level of a current sports car goes without saying in view of the performance.

The engine installed here was presented in November 2016 at the SEMA Show, for the 50th anniversary, in Las Vegas and is called Crate engine inklusive Power Steering and all necessary Belts, guide rollers, Pulleys, Fasteners and brackets delivered.
