For many, Jaguar has always been synonymous with style, speed and luxury. The brand has produced numerous legends on four wheels, but Hardly any vehicle is as legendary like the C-X75.
Originally presented as a concept car in 2010, the dream of producing it in series was unfortunately never fulfilled. But a piece Automobile history cannot be easily forgotten.
The C-X75 is reborn
Thanks to designer Ian Callum and his team The C-X75 now has the chance to finally realize its potential as a street-legal supercar. A second model, an original from the James Bond film "Spectre", has been restored and modernized with attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship - and is now ready to conquer the streets.
There are only four surviving C-X75s from the film, and two of them have since been recovered by the British company Callum approved for road use. Ian Callum himself insisted on personally attending the modification to work. The car was developed from the outset with the aim of being more than a dream. The “Car 001” is the second revised by Callum and takes the concept to the next level with many upgrades and improvements.
Over 1.000 hours of work went into perfecting the bodywork alone. The attention to detail is evident in every aspecttransported by the Paint in "Willow Green" to the elegant, brushed aluminum accents on the windows and the polished metal grille in the front. The taillights have also been changed so that the light distribution is more effective. And the look is rounded off by hand-picked carbon elements at the rear and an etched C-X75 logo on the tailpipe.
Active aerodynamics and a V8 dream
A completely new aerodynamic package brings the supercar up to date with the latest technology. An active air brake mechanism improves stability and handling at high speeds, and the 20- and 21-inch alloy wheels give it a modern and aggressive look. In addition, the original, supercharged 5,0-liter V8 is still installed, but combined with a new seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
By revising software and electronics The C-X75 has a dynamic driving experience, which is further enhanced by a special sport mode – with faster gear changes and a quickly responsive accelerator pedal. Suspension with hydraulic lift system on the front axle. A comfort feature that makes it suitable not only for Racetrack, but also for everyday life.
Luxury meets modernity: an interior that inspires
And that too Interior was equipped with a mixture of luxury and technology. The formerly minimalist film equipment was transformed into a modern and comfortable cockpit. High-quality Bridge of Weir leather in dark green and cream adorns the seats, while the Steering wheel, the dashboard and the center console are completely new.
The controls are now equipped with rotating controls that have integrated touchscreens. And even a wireless charging pad, Apple CarPlay and a custom-built sound system are installed. A digital rearview mirror and an optimized Noise isolation (NVH) complete the interior.
