Airways is a vehicle manufacturer from China. Aiways was founded in Shanghai in 2017 by Gary Gu (CEO) and Samuel Fu (President) and the car manufacturer is also headquartered in Shanghai. There is also a European agency in Munich, headed by Alexander Carsten Klose, with Aiways Automobile Europe GmbH. Aiways focuses on building electric cars and uses artificial intelligence. The name "Aiways" consists of two parts. The "Ai" translates to "love" in Chinese and "Ways" is English for "road" or "path". The brand's first vehicle is the Aiways U5 electric SUV, which was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2019. There is also the SUV coupé Aiways U6 Ion Concept.
