Maxus

The Chinese SAIC group bought the then insolvent British commercial vehicle manufacturer in 2010. Shortly afterwards it was announced that a new brand would be founded, which will be called Maxus. In June 2011, the first model of the Maxus brand finally launched, which was officially founded on March 21, 2011. The brand is known for SUV models, vans, pickups and light commercial vehicles, which are now exported to various countries on all continents. The SUV models and vans are particularly popular with trend-conscious buyers and young families, and the technology in the models comes from SAIC partner General Motors. Tuning is not yet a big issue for Maxus vehicles, but that could change quickly, as SUV and van models in particular are being modified more and more often and are becoming increasingly important in the tuning scene.
