In 2017, the Aspark company first introduced the Aspark Owl (Japanese: W ス パ ー ク OWL) to the fully electric, battery-powered sports car developed by the Aspark engineering office (ア ス パ ー ク). The goal was to build the fastest accelerating sports car with an electric drive. The OWL is being built by Manifattura Automobili Torino (MAT) in Italy and should officially be exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show 2020. As is known, this was canceled due to Covid-19 (coronavirus). The super sports car is planning 50 vehicles at a list price of EUR 2,5 million per vehicle.
