BRABUS 800 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC (X 167)

The new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC redefines the luxurious SUV. This is the perfect challenge for the engineers, technicians and designers at BRABUS to make this extraordinary all-wheel-drive vehicle even more exclusive, individual and sporty. The four-liter V8 biturbo engine with the BRABUS PowerXtra B40S-800 Performance Upgrade produces irrepressible power in every situation and performance like a sports car. With 588 kW / 800 PS and a maximum torque of 950 Nm, the black supercar catapults itself to 4,5 km / h in just 100 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 300 km / h.

The look of the BRABUS 800 is just as exciting: Instead of flashing chrome as in the production car, dark shadow gray dominates here: This not only includes all body parts, but also the BRABUS Monoblock M "PLATINUM EDITION" high-tech forged wheels in 24-inch kingsize format. The BRABUS designers developed sporty, elegant and aerodynamically efficient exposed carbon body components especially for this model, which give the luxury SUV a more athletic appearance.

  • The noble SUV with 800 horsepower and 950 Nm
  • 4,5 seconds from 0 - 100 km / h and 300 km / h fast
  • Elegant BRABUS designer suit and 24-inch high-tech forged wheels
  • BRABUS fine leather interior in bright Leonis Orange

The choice of the finest leather in Leonis Orange for the BRABUS fine leather interior, which is excellently finished down to the last detail, offers a brilliant contrast.

Series condition: 557 PS & 730 NM!

The Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC is powered by an eight-cylinder, four-valve engine with two turbochargers and a displacement of four liters. As the world's largest provider of engine tuning for Mercedes-Benz automobiles, the tuner's engineers developed the BRABUS PowerXtra B40S-800 performance upgrade for this engine.

The top model in the GLS class has an output of 410 kW / 557 hp and a maximum torque of 730 Nm as standard. After the BRABUS engine conversion, 178,8 kW / 243 PS more peak power and 220 Nm more torque are available. Extensive modifications are of course necessary for this: The two standard turbos are exchanged for two BRABUS special chargers with a larger compressor unit and modified trunk group with stronger axial bearings, which produce a maximum boost pressure of 1,6 bar. To be able to use this, of course, the electronic boost pressure control also had to be reprogrammed. This is also the task of the BRABUS PowerXtra control module, as is the feeding of specially developed maps for injection and ignition into the engine's electronic engine management using plug-and-play technology.

Bench runs and driving tests

All components have been extensively tested in complex test runs and driving tests and are of course TÜV-tested. Since BRABUS not only guarantees high performance, but also maximum stability and suitability for everyday use, this engine tuning is also supplied with the exemplary BRABUS tuning guarantee for 3 years up to 100 kilometers (according to BRABUS guarantee conditions, as of July 000). BRABUS recommends high-performance lubricants from MOTUL.

588 kW / 800 PS at just 6 rpm and the enormous maximum torque of 000 Nm at just 950 tours give the BRABUS 5 performance that is on a purebred sports car level: the refined luxury supercar accelerates in just 000 seconds Tempo 800. The top speed is electronically limited to 4,5 km / h due to the weight of the vehicle.

800 hp meet 2,8 tons

Even more impressive than the bare data, however, is the sovereign ease with which the BRABUS engine pushes the 2,8-ton SUV in every speed range, thus ensuring an impressive driving experience. The BRABUS stainless steel high-performance exhaust system with active sound management and a matt black tailpipe on the left and right allows you to choose between tasteful, urban acoustics or powerful eight-cylinder sound in sport mode at the push of a button in the cockpit.

The look of the five-door is just as exciting as the driving experience: all standard chrome parts are glazed in Shadow Gray to match the black paintwork of the vehicle. In order to visually emphasize the sporty ambitions of the BRABUS 800 and to further optimize the aerodynamics, the tuner's design studio developed tailor-made body components for the Maybach variant of the GLS-Class.

Monoblock M "PLATINUM EDITION" rims

The front is upgraded with a BRABUS front spoiler, which, together with the carbon front attachments for the air inlets in the bumper, gives the SUV an even more striking face. The aerodynamic part is shaped in such a way that it reduces lift at high speeds. There is also a sporty upgrade at the rear: the rear bumper is provided with a special BRABUS lower part that not only houses a central diffuser: perfectly shaped cutouts for the tailpipes of the BRABUS sports exhaust system have been integrated on both sides. Just as extravagant are the BRABUS Monoblock M "PLATINUM EDITION" high-end alloy wheels, which with a diameter of 24 inches perfectly fill the available space in the wheel arches with exposed carbon fiber extensions.

These wheels with a large disc design are manufactured in a high-tech forging process and thus offer maximum strength. Size 10Jx24 with Continental high-performance tires in size 295/35 R 24 are used on the front axle. At the rear, there are twelve-inch wide rims with 335/30 R 24 road tires. The mapping of the BRABUS control module is specially tailored to the 24 inch low-profile tires. It intervenes in the control of the AIRMATIC air suspension and lowers the supercar by approx. 25 millimeters.

complete with BRABUS fine leather interior

For the luxurious interior of a Maybach, too, BRABUS offers practically limitless possibilities for tailoring the vehicle individually and in the highest quality to the very personal taste of the vehicle owner. As a contrast to the black paintwork, the refiner's in-house saddlery produced an elegant BRABUS fine leather interior in bright Leonis orange. The particularly soft and breathable leather on the seat panels, the door panels and the entire floor of the cabin is square quilted and perforated with millimeter precision. The BRABUS interior designers integrated a tailor-made business center console with two fold-out tables in the rear.

All switches and panels were glazed in shadow gray to match the exterior design. The BRABUS signature carbon elements on the instrument panel, console and door panels add sporty highlights in the cockpit. There are also aluminum pedals, door pins and shift paddles in BRABUS RACE design on the steering wheel. The BRABUS 800 is built to order according to the customer's wishes. Alternatively, every GLS 600 can be completely or gradually converted to this level
