Although the Chevrolet C10 does not enjoy iconic status like the Ford F series, it is one of the coolest pickup trucks of its time. With its angular design, it offers plenty of scope for all possible Restomod creations that a tuner can think of. In addition, the clear and matter-of-fact lines look extremely cool today, which is why copies in perfect condition are collector's items. The same cannot be said of every automobile from the Swinging Sixties, because there are some vehicles from the era that will definitely not make it into classics. But now we are introducing you to a Chevrolet C10, which has just been auctioned on eBay, and also for immediate purchase for 29.500 US Dollars had been offered. Eight hours before the auction closed, the highest bid was $ 25.000, but unfortunately we don't know at what price the Chevrolet C10 changed hands.

Patina look ensures understatement.

The pickup likes a little rusty and scruffy work, but that's on purpose. The sheets became one special treatment subjected to the so-called Rat-Look which causes a sensation, especially in the driver's cab. This type of tuning always creates controversial discussions because artificially created patina is something that tuning fans either love or hate. Of course, you don't need high-gloss chrome rims on a pickup with a lot of patina, because these would not match the tuning style. Therefore, they were relatively simple-acting Drop-center aluminum rims with multi-spoke optics appropriate.

On closer inspection, the perfectly restored one falls chrome grill which definitely doesn't match the patina look of the rest of the vehicle at first. The big specialty is neither the chrome grille in seemingly perfect condition, nor the advice look in some parts of the body, but what under the hood of the C10. But we'll go into that in more detail. It is also worth noting that Lowering springs were built in to push it closer to the asphalt. In addition, a Magna Flow exhaust system installed, which should provide a fat V8 sound.

Interior with patina look on the cockpit.

The red leather seats look like they've just come from the car upholstery shop and, in our opinion, fit perfectly into the Restomod pickup. Unfortunately, the red of the leather seats is much darker than the red of the door panels and the floor mats, which is why it is not quite tone on tone. That's a bit unfortunate, but shouldn't be a flaw for many Restomod fans. On the other hand, you can see a bit in the cockpit Patinawhich of course is deliberate, and even modern technology found its way into it. Air conditioning, power steering and disc brakes are no longer foreign words for this truck.

LS-V8 with a displacement of 5,3 liters under the hood.

A acts as the drive source 5,3 liter LS V8 which runs on gasoline and does not have a turbocharger. The performance of the engine is in series condition with around 300 PS stated, but unfortunately we know not exactlyhow many little horses there are under the hood of this chevy. The old gearbox also had to give way 4L60E automatic was replaced with four speed steps. So a lot has happened under the hood, but the quarter mile is most likely not the pickup's territory. Rather, this C10 has become a cool cruiser that sweetens everyday life.

Our conclusion on this Chevrolet C10:

An amazing restomod that clearly stands out from many other projects of its kind. It is clearly shown that such a project does not necessarily have to focus on show and shine. If you are interested in the C10, you can take a look at our picture gallery of the vehicle, which we have attached to the article.
