On September 30, the new 007 film hit No Time To Die (English title: No Time To Die) will finally celebrate its premiere in German cinemas. Just in time for the start of the 25th James Bond flick, Land Rover is presenting a highly exclusive special model: the new Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition. The specialists of the Land Rover SV Bespoke department understand the Bond special edition both as a reminiscence of the decades-long close connection between Land Rover and the 007 films and as an appreciation of the special role that Defender models play in No Time to Die. The special model Defender V300 Bond Edition, limited to 8 copies worldwide, is available as Defender 90 or Defender 110 - and makes its grand entrance in the spirit of the agent in Her Majesty's service: discreet and mysterious, with an extended Black Pack and 22-inch wheels in Luna Gloss Black, brake calipers in Xenon Blue and many other exclusive details. The recently introduced supercharged V8 of the Land Rover Defender V8 with a whopping 386 kW (525 hp) of power ensures the propulsion is befitting.

From the outside, the Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition is a real star. He is initially launching the Extended Black Pack, which includes various body details in Narvik Black, such as lettering, applications, a radiator grille and underride protection at the front and rear. That alone qualifies the extra edition of the Defender V8 to be a cool secret agent. Inside, the exclusive look continues seamlessly. The practical interior of the Defender V8 is supplemented by illuminated "Defender 007" sill sills - and by a specially developed start animation for the touchscreen of the Pivi Pro infotainment system, which pays homage to the decades-long partnership between Land Rover and James Bond Row is created. At night, an exclusive "007" graphic of the surrounding lighting rounds off the grand appearance of the special model.

The Land Rover Defender V8 Bond Edition derives its exclusivity not least from the fact that it is limited to just 300 copies worldwide. This is documented in the interior by the fact that the lettering "one of 300" is applied here by laser engraving. The “SV Bespoke” logo also present there shows its origin: each model is put together by the personalization experts from the Land Rover SV Bespoke department in Great Britain.

Finbar McFall, Land Rover Brand Director, says: "With the new Bond Edition, the Land Rover V8 has become a real big screen star, because here the strongest Defender series of all time draws inspiration from its model siblings in the new Bond film No Time to Die. The special model symbolizes the connection between two real British trademarks - and a great tradition, after all, Land Rover and James Bond have been partners for 38 years."

In No Time to Die, two Range Rover Sport SVR *, the Land Rover Series III and the Range Rover Classic also play alongside several Defender models. The 25th film in the James Bond series celebrates its cinema premiere on September 30th. The drive source of the new Defender special model is the modern supercharged gasoline engine of the Defender V8, which generates an output of 5,0 kW (386 hp) and a maximum torque of 525 Nm with a displacement of 625 liters. The unit is coupled with an eight-stage automatic. With this power pack, the Defender V8 90 sprints from 5,4 to 0 km / h in just under 100 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 240 km / h.

The Land Rover Defender V8 impresses with ample performance and a high degree of driver involvement. In addition, the chassis and drive were specially tuned, which includes tailor-made spring and damper rates. In addition, there is an electronically active limited slip differential on board. The Defender V8 therefore impresses with extremely precise and agile handling as well as minimal body movements - crowned by a distinctive V8 sound.

No Time to Die is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga - the lead role as Agent 007, originally created by Ian Fleming, is played for the fifth time by Daniel Craig. Universal Pictures International and Metro Goldwyn Mayer or United Artists will release the film in Europe on September 30th; in the US, the launch is scheduled for October 8th.

In No Time to Die, Daniel Craig alias James Bond has quit active duty and is enjoying his peaceful life in Jamaica. But that comes to an end when Bond's old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA appears and asks James Bond for help: The super agent is supposed to rescue a kidnapped scientist. The mission turns out to be more insidious than expected, however, as Bond faces a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
