Nissan Pathfinder, Frontier and 240 Z at SEMA 2021!

In order to score points with the young US audience who are enthusiastic about tuning, it goes without saying that Nissan also has a strong presence at the largest tuning fair in the USA, SEMA in Las Vegas. Compared to the Big Three from Detroit, they are more conventional and close to series production, but from our point of view the models presented also have their own special charms. Just like the competition from Toyota and Honda one would like to show the mostly young visitors conversions that are also available as Tuning template should serve for screwdrivers, but are not quite as crazy as that Chevrolet Beast Conceptthat we recently presented to you. Nissan is therefore showing three concept cars at SEMA, and we would now like to introduce them to you in more detail.

Nissan Pathfinder Project Overland.

The brand new one 2022 Nissan Pathfinder makes its debut at SEMA with off-road parts from Nissan in-house tuners We did not. This includes one Höherlegung by 5 cm, the installation of Special springs von Bilstein as well 18-inch Nismo off-road rims, on the Maxxis RAZR AT off-road tires were raised. The modified Pathfinder also received four LED position lights on the roof, a special one Roof rack as well as a noticeable one foiling with mountain motifs, which should clarify the off-road claim. There is also a special one front apron with underrun protection and even specially made suitcase with a capacity of 83 liters, that of the  Roa Adventure Company come. Equipped in this way, nothing stands in the way of the next big expedition.

Nissan Frontier Project Overland.

This is especially important for adventurers Nissan Frontier Project Overland equipped, which also has a Höherlegung of 5 cm, but in contrast to the Pathfinder Custom leaf springs from Nismo on the rear axle to ensure a higher loading capacity. 17-inch off-road rims from Nismothat on the name AXIS are part of the repertoire as well as Maxxix off-road tires with the model name RAZR in the format 285/70 R17. There are also other upgrades, which roughly correspond to those of the Pathfinder Overland.

Nissan 240 DocZ from Sung Kang:

A completely different audience, on the other hand, is targeting the third vehicle of the Japanese, namely the Nissan 240 DocZ Restomod by Sung Kang. Inspired by the winning vehicle of the East African Safari Rally in 1971, the modified classic car got a tuned one L24 engine with Weber triple carburetor and custom sports exhaust system. The spare tire on the roof as well as the cats stairs the rear also pays homage to the winning car from 1971. The vehicle also rolls up 16-inch wheels which go by the name Nanakorobi Yaoki and are based on the standard rim of the special model Z432. Unfortunately, we do not know anything about the performance of the vehicle.

Our Conclusion about Nissan's SEMA appearance:

The company presents itself in a diverse way and tries to appeal to as many tuning fans as possible at Nissan. From our point of view, all that is missing is a modern sports car like the R35 GT-R or the brand new 2023 Nissan Z, which has already celebrated its world premiere, to make a perfect SEMA appearance. However, if you are offroad-savvy, or for Restomods can inspire, then you have to look at the picture gallery that we have attached to the article. If we get more information, there will of course be an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply take ours Feed subscribe to.
