Regardless of what Porsche tries to do with every new generation of the 911, you basically do not deviate from the basic idea from 1963. No matter whether it is a 964, 993, 996, 997, 991 or the brand new 992. The shape of the original with 130 hp 2-liter six-cylinder boxer engine is unmistakable. And that's basically a good thing. But what if you start from scratch again? If you reinterpret the XNUMX, so to speak! This is exactly what graphic designer Pawel Breshke has now done and created a futuristic variant of the legendary athlete. Curtain up for the Porsche Cyber 677 who tries to deny his relationship to the XNUMX, at least in terms of the name. But the shape, especially in the successful rear area, will seem very familiar to fans of the original.

And that despite the partially completely new components. From the front, however, the Cyber 677 looks like a mix of a lifted Taycan, a little Lamborghini Urus (Hood & upper part of the apron) and the idea for the narrow double bridge headlights is likely to come directly from the Genesis G80, which is aimed at the German luxury class. The Lamborghini Terzo Millennio might have been the inspiration for the wheel set with central locking, even if the design of the spokes in particular is different. The rims with the bronze-colored accents match the ultra-modern design of the 677 and do not distract the eye too much from the highly detailed side skirts. The small exterior mirror cameras do not come from the Porsche shelf, but rather from the Audi e-tron, and the rear of the 677 already mentioned follows next.
the interior is reduced to the bare minimum
Breshke installed futuristic taillights in the style of the current 911 light strip and the tailpipes with their laser-blue horizontal web are particularly successful. There was also an almost completely closed rear window and even the interior was considered by Breshke. Surprisingly, there is no central infotainment screen as you would expect, but only a large screen as an instrument cluster directly behind the rectangular steering wheel with Porsche lettering. In the middle there are a few switches that may control the traction control, a selectable all-wheel drive or an adjustable chassis and nothing more. There is also plenty of brown leather, blue aluminum in the form of a beautiful center console and blue ambient lighting all over the vehicle.
Maybe with a six-cylinder boxer engine?
Nothing seems exaggerated or even overloaded, in contrast to current vehicles, which sometimes only rely on touchscreen monitors. With this vehicle, however, you should concentrate on the essentials - driving! And that should be a lot of fun with this flounder. Especially if a revised variant of the current EA9A2 six-cylinder boxer engine is on board, which may be coupled to an electric motor and thus mobilize 750 to 850 hp and over 1.000 Newton meters of torque. Coupled with the current 8-speed dual clutch transmission (PDK), driving fun is practically inevitable. How do you like the Porsche Cyber 677 concept? Have fun looking at the pictures and stay true to us!
