Paolo Pavesio, Director Marketing and Motorsport at Yamaha Motor Europe
“The concept of the national R7 Cups and the R7 Series European SuperFinale differs from that of our other racing series in that it is not specifically aimed at young drivers who are aiming for a racing career. We offer an inexpensive and uncomplicated format for all those drivers who want to race for fun or who are looking for the next challenge after their Track Day experience. Our goal is to create a series with a real sense of community in which all drivers feel comfortable regardless of age or experience. A series and an event in which fathers and their children or friends can compete against each other to finally make it clear who is really the fastest. But the idea of competition is just as important as having fun in the race. We are sure that we will see real competition on the track when it comes to securing a place on the starting grid of the Yamaha R7 Series European SuperFinale at the end of the season. "
