Premcar is a product development and engineering consultancy and was founded by Prodrive UK in 1996 (formerly known as Tickford Vehicle Engineering). In 2012, the company name was changed to the Premcar we know today. For decades, Premcar has built high-performance versions of Ford vehicles (XR6, XR6 Turbo, XR8, F6 and GT). And the experience and technology that went into developing the vehicles has since been applied to new products for a wide range of manufacturers in the automotive, marine, defense, mining and aerospace industries. Premcar describes itself as “the engineering service provider” that meets or even exceeds the strictest OEM standards.
