In progress: Nissan Leaf (ZE1) Bodykit from tuner Kuhl Racing

Did you know that the Nissan Leaf the first generation is the world's most successful electric car? No Tesla namely can show a number of 320.000 vehicles. And that despite the ugly look! And that's exactly what has changed with the second generation (type ZE1) because the Leaf has become quite handsome. And of course the technology has also been improved again. There is a 40 kWh battery for a maximum range of 285 km (predecessor 24 kWh) but the idle disadvantage that the type 2 AC charging connection up to 3,6 kW of the basic equipment at the household socket with 2,3 kW at 10 amps is good "17 hours “Needed to charge the Leaf.

In 17 hours, it should be quite possible to bring a body kit, a lowering and a set of new alloy wheels to the Leaf. And that's exactly what the Japanese tuner wants Kuhl Racing enable. The guys are currently working on a body kit that consists of a front spoiler, side skirts, a roof spoiler and a diffuser insert for the rear apron. The components are quite fitting and give the Leaf a sporty touch. Clearly less fitting, however, we find the brutal lowering that can be seen at least on the virtual images.

So extreme, it probably only down when you installed an Airride air suspension and beyond the camber in the Camber-Style in the immeasurable ausreizt. It does not look pretty in our opinion, and the tires are likely to be completely finished after just a few thousand kilometers. We are curious if the presentation vehicle will receive this setup. If we get the first information for the completion there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is just ours Feed subscribe to. Looks really rad, keep up the sleek work and I would be interested in purchasing this kit once it becomes available, unless it's a one off. I have only one question, What material is this kit made from, fiberglass, ABS or carbon fiber?

  2. Looking great keep it up! I am looking forward to making a spoiler for my 2018 leaf. (Debadged, on 1 inch spacers, chrome delete, window tints, light tints and soon to be dropped.) Looking forward to see your project's outcome.
