Already in August last year, the ABT Sportsline GmbH showed that they are the normal VW Golf GTI Clubsport on request, miss a whopping 340 PS & 430 NM torque and help achieve impressive driving values. But as is well known, VW has been offering the GTI since September 2016 "Clubsport S“With standard 310 PS & 380 NM torque and of course this must not be left untreated. The logical consequence is the ABT Sportsline VW Golf GTI Clubsport "S" with heavy 370 PS & 460 NM torque. ABT uses chip tuning to tickle around 20% more from the CJXG four-cylinder with 2l displacement and ensures that the Wolfsburg-based driver is allowed to run a whopping 268 km / h.

If you want, you can have the optics re-sharpened by the tuner from Kempten because the already known customization options in the form of a new front grille, headlight covers, mirror caps or the tailgate attachment, which we already know from normal ABT Clubsport, are also suitable for the "S" model. And of course there are also all other modifications such as the optional 6-piston fixed caliper brake system, 20 inch Abt Sportsline alloy wheels, an in-house coilover kit (or suspension springs), etc. By the way, in autumn 2016 the standard Clubsport S on the Nordschleife managed a time of 7: 47,19 and won the title for the fastest front-wheel drive, we are pretty sure that the ABT variant can undercut the 7:40 and thus ensure a new best time.
