A matter of taste: Chevrolet Corvette C5 Z06 with C1 Bodykit

This Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (model C5) built in 2004 comes with a particularly questionable retro styling kit. The pictures show you a white lacquered Vette with the look of the legendary C1 (Production period: 1953-1962), which is quite successful, at least from the start. Nevertheless, the particularly large C5 cannot hide the fact that it is not a C1. The side section in particular makes this clear and, in our opinion, the rear has little to do with the classic. Incidentally, this white copy is one of only 200 built 1953 Commemorative Corvette C1 from tuner Advanced Automotive Technologies (ATT).

At the beginning of this year there were already such one copy in red on the platform mecum.com to bid and now this is it. The every timer with the '53 -03 'kit and the C1 1953 Corvette optics it gives up Bring-A-Trailer to be auctioned and the Vette has also coupled a ProCharger radial compressor to the 5,7-liter LS6 V8 engine and a classic 6-speed manual transmission. Furthermore, other details such as the chrome-plated 17 & 18 inch alloy wheels with 265/40 and 295/35 Goodyear Eagle F1 tires or the neat interior in red and black. Incidentally, the photos come directly from bringatrailer.com and at the current time, the highest bid is just 17.500 dollars.
