A pretty nasty styled Dodge Challenger HEMI 6.1 was released on the Timeline a few hours ago Ferrada Wheels and of course we have to show it to you. Probably the most striking feature in our eyes is the huge air inlet on the black bonnet. It supplies the 6059 cm³ engine with its 317 kW (431 PS) & 569 Nm torque with sufficient fresh air. There was also a large front spoiler lip which is held with struts and underlines the aggressive style of the front. In addition, main headlights with daytime running lights in the vehicle color and a foiled "monster scratch" on the driver's side are installed. And if a car is published on the Ferrada website then of course the background that a wheel set from Ferrada Wheels is also installed.

And this is also the case with the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT because from now on, matt black Ferrada FR4 rims (estimated 20 inches) rotate in the wheel arches, which allow a nice view of the large Brembo brake system with its orange painted brake calipers. And of course, a significant lowering should not be missing and so the big Challenger moves quite clearly towards the road compared to the production vehicle. How exactly the lowering was implemented is unfortunately not known to us at the moment, we assume that a coilover suspension or perhaps even an Airride system was used here. And there were also visual changes at the rear, the standard spoiler lip on the boot lid was replaced by a larger one and the rear window is clad in retro style.

Rounding out the rear view with completely darkened taillights and so a little reminds the Challenger so that the 69 Dodge Charger "General Lee" from the legendary series "A Duke Seldom Comes Alone" (1979–1985). If we get more information about the modifications to the Challenger, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
