Copa from Bürstner now also as a 4×4 all-road vehicle

In the spring of 2022, the compact Bürstner Copa mobile home will also be available with all-wheel drive. The vehicle, which is based on Ford Transit Custom, is specially modified for this purpose and equipped with an optional all-road package (treaded tires, radiator grille in trail design, underbody protection). This new, multifunctional all-road vehicle is designed for loose and slippery surfaces such as sand, snow or damp grass, giving you more security. This is made possible by the modern all-wheel drive system, which engages automatically as soon as the wheels on the front axle spin. The electromagnetic clutch engages and distributes the drive forces to the front and rear axles in a ratio of up to 50:50, depending on the situation. Alternatively, the all-wheel drive can be switched on permanently via a push button switch in the cockpit.

The popular Copa C 500 layout will be available at the start of series production. A standard sleeping roof with panoramic function, a large water tank (50 liters), a 41-liter compressor cooler, good kitchen equipment, rotating driver and passenger seats, several cupboards and storage areas, a flexible rail system and a hanging table complete the equipment. There is also a digital control option for the heating with the Webasto Thermo Connect app. With further optional accessories, such as the innovative Home Light® or the sleeping bench, Bürstner creates further moments of well-being.

There are five different packages with additional equipment for the Copa C 500 4×4: the electric package, the allroad package, the Ford comfort package with and without intelligent cruise control and the active 4×4 package. The bus version includes two individual seats, while the holiday version has a bench seat for two people that can be converted into a sleeping bench. In addition, you can order one or two individual seats for both variants, so that traveling with a total of up to 6 people is possible. The vehicle can be supplemented as desired with special Copa accessories such as a rear tent, awning, topper or storage box in the Bürstner Original Parts Accessories Shop via the specialist dealer.

"After the launch of our Campeo 4×4 in January 2020, there was a very high demand for multifunctional all-road vehicles," explains Markus Pangerl, Sales Manager at Bürstner. "So it made sense to also offer our most compact vehicle, the Copa, as an all-road variant. It pays full attention to our core message "Feeling comfortable on the go" and offers many different usage options. We are the first large-scale supplier to offer such a compact all-roader on the market.” The Copa C500 4×4 will be available in Germany from €57.270 (base vehicle + 4×4 base package).
