This 1974 Pontiac Firebird Restomod with the look of the "Firebird Formula from 71" is not only an absolute beauty, but also equipped with an exotic engine. Under the hood sits a Katech LS3-V8 with forged Mahle pistons from the Chevrolet Corvette, which sends powerful 560 hp and 700 Newton meters of torque to the rear wheels by means of a Monster 4L70E automatic. Of course, the classic has been completely restored and rebuilt and is therefore in an incredibly good condition. The body is wrapped in an elegant gray that reminds us of Audi's nardo gray and there are also some accents in black, including the new wheelset. Because the Firebird of the second generation stands on black Foose Nitrous forged wheels in XL format, which sit in the wheel arch with millimeter precision thanks to a coilover suspension and a significant lowering.

And of course there is also a modified brake system behind the rims. As is so often the case with this vehicle, the choice fell on a system from Wilwood that, with large perforated brake discs at the front and rear and red-painted multi-piston calipers, ensures a decent standstill in view of the violent increase in performance. Other changes are new headlights and grilles in the front in the style of the 71er Formula and the rear lights of the Firebird Formula are installed. They are significantly smaller and, in combination with the small license plate recess, are responsible for a new rear view that we have never seen on a 74 Firebird. The successful rear view is rounded off by the fact that the factory spoiler header of the Firebird Trans Am is no longer installed. And of course the cabin has also been completely restored and is in a breathtaking condition. 3rd

Corbeau sports seats with leather upholstery are installed, for example, and the cabin is generally lined with leather wherever possible. In addition, modern accents like that Auto Meter Combination instrument with carbon frame, the B&M selector lever up to the noble 3-spoke sports steering wheel from Budnik - successful accents without destroying the style of the 70s. Other important details include new upper and lower wishbones, a 3,08 ratio, an aluminum radiator, a 3-inch stainless steel exhaust system and a Coleman Racing aluminum driveshaft. An unbelievable vehicle that is a welcome alternative to various Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Corvette or Camaro conversions. We do not currently have any more details about the Custom Restomod 1971 Firebird with Formula Styling.
