As is well known, Audi has lifted the RS5 Coupé and the Sportback and is now adding two limited editions. But only for the USA. The 2,9-liter bi-turbo V6 with 450 PS and 600 NM torque and the 8-speed tiptronic are also installed. The new start editions are the Ascari Launch Edition and the Black Optic Launch Edition. Both are packages that only change the look. The Ascari Edition is painted in Ascari Blue metallic paint and equipped with blue painted brake calipers. The carbon-ceramic brake system is also shown in blue behind 20-inch forged wheels. Audi Dynamic Steering, the RS sports suspension and the RS sports exhaust are also included. Otherwise these are only available via the optional Dynamic Package. Gray contrasting seams complement the matt carbon inlays and the RS design package in the cabin. The Ascari Edition costs $ 96.645 for the Coupe and $ 96.945 for the Sportback and is limited to 25 Coupes and 100 Sportbacks.

The Black Optic Launch Edition is not limited to a paint job. It is available for the Coupé and Sportback and wraps the body in Mythos Black, Glacier White, Daytona Gray, Nardo Gray or Tango Red. Audi estimates US $ 88.445 for both models and includes 20-inch rims in glossy black and one Numerous darkened design parts such as the Audi rings and emblems, the roof on the coupé, the mirror caps, the front spoiler, the cladding of the rear diffuser, etc. The dynamic package is also standard. Inside you can see the matt RS carbon inlays and the RS design package with red stitching. The edition is limited to 100 Coupes and 325 Sportbacks.
