AC Schnitzer from Aachen knows: For some BMW customers it can't be sporty enough. This applies in particular to the sporty version that comes from the factory BMW 2 Series Coupe (G42), which now also comes with an individual AC Schnitzer special parts program was equipped and now as 2 series by AC Schnitzer celebrates its world premiere. For the M240i and M240i xDrive there is already an AC Schnitzer performance increase in the starting blocks, which now increases the standard output from 275 kW/374 hp and 500 Nm 309 kW / PS 420 and 600 Nm lifts. Part of the scope of delivery of the performance increase is also in this case the one associated with AC Schnitzer assembly warranty. It provides the necessary security.
Optionally, the AC Schnitzer Engine optics be ordered, with which the engine compartment stands out from the mass of the 2 series. The AC Schnitzer sports rear silencer made of stainless steel with two "Carbon Sport" tailpipes in right/left combination (4 pieces in total) ensures that the brilliant performance does not go unnoticed acoustically. For pure visual enhancement, the tuning experts offer the “Carbon Sport” or “Sport” tailpipes in chrome or black, also individually. Aachen is only “stacked down” in one area: suspension spring kit and sports suspension come in the AC Schnitzer version with a lowering of approx. 20 - 25 mm from the lifting platform. In this case, however, less is more: when it comes to cornering comfort and road holding, the 2 Series Coupé by AC Schnitzer has probably reached the top.
Beyond the series is also the wide range of AC Schnitzer wheelsetsthat are available for the 2 Series Coupé: both the weight-optimized ones AC4 Flow forming rims (BiColor silver/black or black) in 8,5J x 20″ with 245/30 R 20 on the front axle and 255/30 R 20 on the rear axle as well AC1 Light-alloy rims in BiColor or anthracite in the same dimensions ensure an unmistakable and sporty look and the necessary ground contact. If you like it a size smaller, the AC1 rims can also be installed in 19″.
As a useful addition to the special parts program, track spreads offered for the 2-series G42, with which every wheel and tire combination offered by BMW can be upgraded because it is positioned 12 mm further out on each side. This improves lateral support, improving driving stability and dynamics. The good road holding of the new 2 Series by AC Schnitzer is not least due to the aerodynamic components, which also set visual accents. Of the front splitter (for vehicles with M aerodynamic package SA 715), which increases the downforce on the front axle, can be used with its black surface without further painting.
At the rear of the vehicle, a rear roof spoiler and the all-new, two-piece rear spoiler for the aerodynamic balance of the 2-series G42. Developed according to the "form follows function" principle, the AC Schnitzer aerodynamic components primarily improve handling and ensure additional traction thanks to the improved downforce values. The AC Schnitzerrear apron film is an additional and practical conversion: It protects the loading sill of the trunk against scratches and other signs of wear.
AC Schnitzer interior design
The interior design continues to be stylish and functional. The AC Schnitzer is "THE" control element with which you have every driving situation firmly under control Sport steering wheel. The rim of the steering wheel in the noble material mix of perforated nappa leather in black with black Alcantara is connected by a light gray cross-stitch seam to form a unit. With recessed grips on the right and left for the driver's thumb and the light gray motorsport indicator with AC Schnitzer logo for center marking, orientation of the current steering wheel position is ensured.

The combination with the AC Schnitzer aluminum shift paddles, which are noticeably larger compared to the series counterparts, is another useful optimization. aluminum pedals and footrests, keyholder and the aluminum Cover for the iDrive Controller are available when it comes to adapting the interior of the vehicle to its performance and sporty elegance.
