From the Swiss tuner Dähler Design & Technik GmbH we are receiving very recent pictures of a significantly modified BMW M135i (F40) which we can of course not withhold from you. In addition to a few visual changes, the focus is particularly on increasing the performance of the new B48A20T1 four-cylinder engine with turbocharger. As is well known, the 2-liter engine delivers a hefty 306 hp and 450 Nm of torque at the factory and is linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission and equipped with xDrive all-wheel drive. And Dähler gets some extra power out of the engine. Namely a maximum of 364 hp and just under 550 Newton meters of torque, which are impressively immortalized with a badge on the engine cover. This puts you on the level of an M2 with an N55B30 six-cylinder in terms of performance and even clearly surpasses it in terms of torque. And an increase in the standard V / max limitation is also included with the installed chip tuning. And optically, the DÄHLer Competition Line M135i is in no way inferior to its big brother, as we find.

The black photo vehicle received a sentence Scheinwerferblenden and as a striking highlight there were the in-house CDC1 FORGED forged wheels in 8 × 20 inch format. The wheel set is equipped with Michelin slippers in the dimensions 245/30 ZR20, also all around. And so that the new Alus sit so perfectly in the wheel arch, the potent 1 Series is also lowered a few centimeters. Whether the lowering, however, by means of a 25 mm sport spring set or by means of a complete chassis (Sports suspension performance, height and 3-way adjustable hardness) has been achieved, we cannot currently say. What we can say, the M135i received 2 DÄHLer stainless steel tailpipes in the format 100 mm, which are black matt ceramic coated and have a DÄhler logo. By the way, you can choose here. In addition to the individual tailpipes, dÄhler also has its own rear silencer with exhaust flap control and EC approval and a high-performance catalytic converter is apparently already in the works.

In the cabin we can see a set of floor mats from the DÄHLer competiton line and on request there is also an individually made interior in leather or Alcantara. Many other details are also available, such as various covers, diffusers, exterior mirror caps, etc. in a noble carbon look, there are various spacers, various surfaces for the rims and even sports brake pads through to software changes for the transmission are available. And also for the little brothers with B38 petrol, B37 & B47 diesel engines, almost all components including various performance enhancements are available. If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
