2020 Lincoln Navigator HPE600 from Hennessey Performance!

Hennessey lifts the Lincoln Navigator L HPE600! However, the changes are almost invisible compared to the model from 2018. The full-size SUV Lincoln Navigator is unfortunately only available in Germany through free importers and is certainly too large for some German garages. The Navigator is positioned in the premium segment in the USA and is available in three configurations (Base, reserve, black label) available. Always there is the Ford 3,5-liter V6 with 455 hp and 691 Nm torque. It is coupled to a 10-speed automatic and all-wheel drive and ensures a maximum of 197 km / h and an acceleration of 6,1 seconds for the sprint at country speed. And should these key data not suffice, the US tuner Hennessey Performance has the upgrade from VelociRaptor 600 for the navigator at the start.

After all, the engine is identical! And theoretically you could also do that VelociRaptor V8 obstruct. So far, there are no plans for this. But the HPE600 upgrade package for the V6 is also a real announcement. Because the result is also impressive for the 600 model year with 2020 HP. Some Mercedes AMG G63 or Range Rover SVR drivers are likely to change camps. The BiTurbo-V6 is missed an in-house software upgrade for the engine management, there is an optimized air intake system with high flow and the turbochargers are also made. The changes are acoustically noticeable via a specially adapted stainless steel exhaust system and a new front cooler ensures sufficient fresh air.

And if you want, you can also present the increase in performance optically. For example, with forged 22-inch monoblock rims, lowering by means of a modified chassis and the optional Brembo sports brake system with its red saddles and large perforated discs is an indication of the increased performance. The details are skillfully rounded off with small HPE600 emblems and Hennessey badges including a numbered badge inside and outside. Hennessey does not provide any information on whether the top speed will change, but since there is a strict speed limit in the USA anyway, this is also a minor matter. And also incidental for such a vehicle is the “quarter mile” (402,34 meters). Nevertheless, the tuner took the opportunity to measure the discipline and gives a value of 12,9 seconds and a top speed of 172 km / h.

More relevant is the significantly improved traction in all speed ranges and the reduced acceleration to 100 km / h in just 4,8 seconds (series 6,1). And as always, Hennessey gives a 3-year or 58.000-kilometer guarantee on the conversion and tests each vehicle extensively beforehand to ensure that it works. By the way, the price is quite reasonable with 19.950 USD (approx. 18.000 euros) plus base vehicle as we find. At least with regard to the mentioned Range Rover SVR or the G63 AMG.
