Exclusive - Mercedes-Maybach S650 convertible on Forgiato's

So that the Maybach S650 Cabriolet differs significantly from the S-Class Convertible, Mercedes has invested a lot. Limited to 300 copies, the driving luxury yacht is unofficially set a little bit on the Rolls-Royce Dawn. As long as current delivery times on the noble Britten are the plan could even work. Especially the interior differs significantly and convinces with specially designed seat cushions in waterfall design, high-quality and particularly elaborate seams and piping, on request embroidered, embossed or directly inserted into the wood Maybach logos and a lot of changed consoles.

Under the hood sits a V12 engine from AMG, which delivers a fulminant 6,0 hp and up to 630 Newton meters of torque from a 1.000-liter displacement and catapults “the boat” to 4,1 km / h in just 100 seconds. That this is of course also reflected in the price shouldn't be surprising and so you should shell out at least € 357.000 for the luxury liner. So what else can you customize or even improve on such a vehicle?

For example, you can build a new set of alloy wheels just as the owner of this copy did. He replaced the factory wheels with aluminum wheels from the house Forgiato Wheels, and more specifically it is the Tec 2.2 from the Tecnica series. In contrast to the many chrome on the S650 there was a brushed surface and the spokes, as well as the fittings, are now kept to match the paint in red. If you look closely, you can see that the calipers are different because now they wear a striking yellow paint.

The combination is quite successful and in our opinion fits the wheelset really well on the S650 Cabriolet.
