What a bullet! Yesterday the brand new celebrated ABT Audi RS5-R his world premiere and already the first Teaser video from a few days ago made our heartbeat go up significantly. In addition to significantly more power, it is especially the real carbon body kit that draws attention and harmonizes perfectly with the beautiful Sonoma Green ex works. The body kit includes a completely black front grille including ABT emblem and a real carbon front lip that is perfectly adapted to the RS bumper.

In addition, the bumper receives two sideflaps on the right and left which underline the dynamic appearance from the front and of course consist of carbon. In addition to the chic look, the components also ensure even better aerodynamics of the RS5. It continues with a beautiful concave 21 inch (also available in 20 inches) wheel set in 10 spoke design which is equipped with glossy black paint and a white PinStripe and low-profile high-performance tires.

In order to ensure that the wheel set sits perfectly in the wheel arch and that the RS5-R receives even more driving dynamics, ABT, in cooperation with KW, developed a coilover suspension for the RS5 that allows for individual adjustment according to customer requirements and will soon be available. Until then, the customer can order adjustable suspension springs. Despite all sportiness, the suspension and the sports springs ensure that the suitability for everyday use is maintained. The side view is rounded off by distinctive gills in the fenders and lugs for the side skirts and continues at the rear.
The chocolate side of the RS5-R is characterized by a sporty, and designed for perfect aerodynamics, real carbon rear diffuser of a powerful sports exhaust system with 4 × 102 mm tailpipes made of carbon brings. The rear end is rounded off by a discreet carbon spoiler lip on the tailgate as well as a black Audi emblem and of course the logo of the tuner. The highlight, however, is definitely the increase in performance with ABT Engine Control and a new charge air cooler on whopping 530 PS (450 series) and mighty 690 Newtonmeter torque (600 series).
And who knows ABT knows that on request, the interior can be refined and so comes the RS5 with real carbon fiber panels on the seat rails, high-quality Alcantara / leather sports seats including red RS5-R logos or high-quality carbon shift paddles on the steering wheel. But the Abt Audi RS5-R will be limited to only 50 copies and so you should get in touch with ABT if you want to get one. News from the SEMA AutoShow that started today (30.10.2018):
There you will also be able to see an RS5-R next to an SQ5. One of only 50 copies built will therefore enrich the exhibition. The vehicle comes from the US Abt partner Landmark Motors and can be admired on the stand of Thule. He also stands on the well-known 21 inch large Sport GR rims with black finish which sit perfectly thanks to coil springs and sport stabilizers in the wheel arch. And of course he wears the entire RS5-R body kit. The carbon components in the form of the front spoiler lip, the frontflics, the grille insert, the sideblades and the rear skirt insert have a stunning effect, especially due to the dull gray full-foil.
The rear got tailpipes in the format 4 × 102 millimeters with carbon sheathing and from a technical point of view there is of course a lot going on. The highlight here is the increase in performance using the AEC additional control unit to 510 PS and 680 Nm (Series: 450 PS / 600 Nm). And the interior has also been refined with a lot of carbon and, in combination with various ABT logos, rounds off the RS5 impressively.
