Toyota sends the luxury SUV "Harrier“In the fourth generation. The Harrier will hit dealerships this summer and will be available again in the USA for the first time. Here, however, as Venza. Built in 1997, the US appearance is the first after a 3-year break. The first and second generations of the Harrier were offered in the United States and Europe as Lexus RX, which only changed with generation three. From then on, the paths separated and the vehicles were further developed independently. And the new one has become really chic. Significantly more dynamic, modern and visually based on the sister model Lexus RX. And inside, too, everything is much more exclusive. There are less bulky shapes, distinguished design and filigree decor elements for a successful look. A protruding multimedia display sits in the middle and up-to-date, for example, the control panel for climate control reacts to touch.

There are nice details like an inside mirror with screen (for front and rear cameras) and a panoramic glass roof with electrochromatic dimming function is also available. The Harrier based on the platform of the current Toyota RAV4 essentially also has its drive. That means there is a hybrid variant (System performance of 218 PS / 2WD or 222 PS / 4WD) and also a classic petrol engine (171 PS). And with a length of 4,74 meters and a width of 1,85 meters, you are in no way inferior to a current Lexus LX and RX, because the Harrier is positioned exactly in between. Visually, you can even outdo the noble brothers. And with tuning from Artisan Spirtis. Because they already have a body kit for the crossover at the start. And the Harrier / Venza benefits enormously from the body kit. It gives it additional aggressiveness and skilfully highlights the most important details of the body. At the front, the Artisan package brings additional covers around the air intakes and the apron has a front spoiler.

And even a new bonnet can be installed on request. The side section is staged with optional aluminum rims and the side skirts come from the Japanese tuner. There are other changes at the rear. There are numerous new attachments here that perfectly complement the front and side details of the body kit. The most striking thing is the aggressive rear wing, which extends over the rear window and a second spoiler on the tailgate. There is also a diffuser and even a new bumper has been created for the rear of the Harrier. The price details for the kit from Artisan Spirits are not yet known. However, as always, it should only be available in Japan. If we receive timely information on further changes, there is of course an update for this report.
