Currently there is a standard BMW M135i xDrive Far from being able to take on the Mercedes-AMG A45 S or the new Audi RS3. The opponents of the M135i are more likely to be called A35 AMG, Audi S3 or Golf R. But for those who still want to see the 1 Series BMW in this league, the tuning industry naturally has appropriate upgrades ready. The B48 four-cylinder (Incidentally, it also sits in the M235i Gran Coupé) from the following video is a good example. Because he got a Stage 1 kit missed that including one Akrapovic sports exhaust system the 2,0-liter four-cylinder 352 HP (357 PS) and 533 Newton meters of torque brings. After all, these are additional ones 51 PS & 83 Nm.

This is by no means the same as the A45s or the RS3, but the difference is noticeable. The 0 Series now manages the sprint from 100 to 1 km / h in 4,2 seconds instead of 4,7 and the top speed is GPS-measured 247 km/h, whereby the digital speedometer shows 260 km / h. Although these are not bad key data, the supposed "top model" of the 1 series is still a disappointment for us. No in-line six-cylinder, front-wheel drive platform and, as an "M-Performance vehicle", only available with an automatic transmission. The predecessor could do everything better!
