Even years after the end of production, the 1M is still considered one of the best M cars that BMW has ever brought to the market. But the performance is not enough for everyone. Because this special 1M Coupe has the V10 engine of an E60 M5 receive. The vehicle is currently from Grand Sports Cars For sale for €59.900 ($58.043) and has done around 19.000 km. But even with the modified engine, that's a pretty high sum, we think. But no matter ... The 1M shows itself in the noble Metallic green and likes black 20 inch Wiesmann rims. Orange brake calipers are hidden behind the front aluminum ones Bremsanlage come from an F10 M5. There was rear instead the system from the E90 M3. Other changes are a roof, a Hatchback and Mirror covers made of carbon, the latter two being painted in the same color as the vehicle. But now we come to Motor.
M5 V10 power in the BMW 1M (E82)
Specifically, it is S85 V10 from the E60 M5 to the automated SMG manual gearbox (SMG) from the M5 coupled in the 1er does its work. The engine even got one performance increase mittels ESS compressor system, Water/methanol injection and a special one Friedrich sports exhaust system lost. As far as we know, the result is strammen 650 PS / 478 kW, which is of course a real announcement compared to the standard output of the V10 (507 PS / 373 kW) and in particular the standard vehicle with 340 PS / 250 kW (six-cylinder in-line).
