Rieger Tuning from Eggenfelden yesterday presented a completely modified BMW 3er F31 XDrive on its Facebook timeline, which received a chic PERL Design carbon body kit and also a mega eye-catching film and a completely changed chassis set-up. But let's start with the body kit! A carbon spoiler sword was attached to the optional M front bumper from the manufacturer "Perl carbon“Attached that hugs the lines of the front apron perfectly. Carbon side skirts are installed on the side and the rear is refined with a Rieger real carbon rear insert that is suitable for the M bumper. For me, the components of the body kit are a chic alternative to the ones I often see BMW M Performance Parts and certainly high quality as well. But not only the body kit highlights the 3er Touring. Especially the Avery SWF ColorFlow Urban Jungle Chameleon Foliation all around puts the touring in scene. The new design was applied by the professionals of Anderswerk Foils & Design from Bad Füssing in Bavaria. A highlight of the foiling is of course the fact that the matt foiling shines in a different color on every edge / curve on which the light is refracted.
In our eyes, a really chic alternative to the boring paintwork ex works, but it still brings a certain understatement with it. Finally, we would like to get to the new chassis set-up because of course such an extensive project is only adequately implemented when a new wheel set and lowering are installed. Regarding the lowering, it was decided to use a KW coilover kit V2 that ensures that the new Tomason TN17 wheelset, in 19 inches, sits perfectly in the wheel arch. The F31 is visually rounded off by BMW M Performance Parts kidneys in black and a glossy black roof. An extremely successful project that will certainly give the owner a lot of pleasure for the upcoming tuning year 2017. If we get more information about the modifications to the F31 Touring, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
