The new production vehicle offers a similar level of performance as the BMW M2 CS**, the exclusive sports car special model from BMW M GmbH. The driver thus experiences pure race track feeling under all conditions - even in the extreme range. The proven engine taken from the M2 and M3 models provides the power under the hood of the BMW M4. The two transmission types available to choose from, the manual 6-speed transmission and the 8-speed M Steptronic transmission, guarantee extremely dynamic implementation of the performance that redefines driving pleasure. The sporty driving behavior is further enhanced by the adaptive M suspension and the rear-wheel drive of the new BMW M2. The powerful braking system comes from the M3 and M4 models and ensures sovereign control of the performance. The sporty, dynamic appearance of the new BMW M2 is rounded off by various special equipment options.
