Do you actually know what the term is JDM is in the tuning scene? The abbreviation stands for "Japanese Domestic Market". This could be translated as "Japanese domestic market". This abbreviation actually stands for the equipment variant of a car available on the Japanese car market. If you relate the whole thing to the tuning scene, the term JDM stands for a certain type of tuning of Asian vehicles. One feature, for example, is the JDM tuner that often does without spoilers from the accessory trade and noticeable paintwork. With a JDM vehicle, you make sure that it is modified in a way that is close to the Japanese original. With regard to the lowering or the choice of rims, however, compromises are often made because you naturally want to stand out from the crowd. Learned something again… 😉 On the website of the American tuner EAS we discovered an M3 E90 sedan that was tuned in JDM style.

In addition to being lowered by means of RDSports sport springs, the M3 has received a JDM style wheel set from Volk Racing of the type TE37RT. The surface of the rims is matt black and looks good with the Silverstone metallic blue paintwork as we find it. Apart from the subtle lowering and the 18 inch alloy wheels, apparently only a set of black kidneys and gills and a few carbon parts from the BMW M Performance Parts shelf were installed so that we leave you alone with the pictures at this point. 🙂 But if we do get some information about important changes, there is of course an update for this post. You will be informed about the update if you have ours Feed subscribe to. We hope you enjoy watching.
