While TAG Motorsports recently featured Alpine white BMW M4 F82 with Enlaes Part's & Rotiform rims clearly trimmed in the direction of conspicuity, the tuner now shows us almost the opposite. Not that the current, and also alpine white, M3 F80 is inconspicuous or even boring, the subtle setup of the silver aluminum rims just looks much more reserved than the golden Rotiform IND-T Alu's of the M4. The M3 has received a set of black kidneys and gills and a lowering, unfortunately unknown to us, that allows the Vossen Wheels VWS-1 20 inchers to stand perfectly in the wheel arches. The M3 is rounded off very harmoniously with beautiful details such as the side markings in the vehicle color or the discreet rear spoiler lip. Unfortunately, we also don't really know whether the M3 only got black tailpipes or whether the whole thing ends in a sports exhaust system, but if you look at the pictures from the rear, then the rear silencer suggests a complete system. TAG Motorsports released the M3 the days and we are of course pleased to be able to show you the pictures.
20 incher & lowering
So if you have been secretly thinking of buying a current M3 for a long time, or if you are already a happy owner, TAG Motorsports is certainly an interesting starting point when it comes to individually differentiating the vehicle from the production model, at least when you are somewhere near Vista lives in California (United States). For all those for whom this is not the case, the vehicle may serve as a tuning template for the tuner on site.
As far as the changes to optics or technology are concerned, we have tried to find out all the details. These are the changes to the BMW M3 F80:
- black kidneys and gills
- Vossen Wheels alloy wheels (Works VWS-1, two-part, 20 × 8,5 and 20 × 10,5 inches, matt silver finish / polished anodized)
- painted side markings (body color)
- Reflector painted on the back
- Rear spoiler
- Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilover suspension - more information is not available)
- darkened / tinted windows
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- Sport exhaust system with black tailpipes (more information is not available)
