Bugatti test driver and Le Mans winner Andy Wallace used the time after the presentation of the new Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport1 in Dubai for an extensive drive to Hatta. The exclave of the Emirate of Dubai around 100 kilometers southeast of the city of Dubai is in the Hajar Mountains, on the border with Oman. In the region around Hatta there are mainly: curves, curves, curves. An ideal terrain for the new Chiron Pur Sport and Andy Wallace. The Bugatti engineers developed the new Chiron Pur Sport uncompromisingly for lateral dynamics - and thus expanded the portfolio to include a street-legal hyper sports car with unusual driving characteristics. These include: maximum agility, handling and driving performance. Ideal for fast corners. Extraordinary: the color split in Jaune Molsheim and Carbon. While the entire lower part of the vehicle is made of black carbon, a yellow color dominates over it.

When viewed from the side, the darkened areas combine in terms of color with the road and make Pur Sport appear even flatter and more dynamic. Black also dominates the rear wing, the wheels, the radiator and the front air intakes. To go with it: the 8,0-liter W16 engine with 1.500 hp and 1.600 Newton meters of torque. Thanks to a 15 percent shorter gearbox, the Chiron Pur Sport accelerates even faster than a Chiron. From 0 to 100 it takes only 2,3 seconds instead of 2,4 seconds, from 0 to 200 it now takes 5,9 instead of 6,1 seconds. In addition, it accelerates in 6th gear from 60 to 120 km / h in 4,4 seconds instead of 7,4 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 350 km / h. The series version of the Chiron Pur Sport, limited to 60 pieces and costing three million euros (net), has been in production in Molsheim, France, since autumn 2020.
