CF1 Custom Corvette with Lingenfelter-V8 from Dave Kindig!

The people in charge of 2021 SEMA auto show also had this Corvette CF1 invited on a roadster shop frame as an homage to the 1953 Corvette and after a brief but very informative glimpse into the details thanks to Dave Kindig, it is clear why. Childish is the boss of Kindig-it designs and the CF1 is one Custom 1953 replica with one tuned by Lingenfelter LS7-V8. At the fair there was a white copy and one in silver blue with a carbon body instead of the GRP variant. We are now introducing you to the latter. The conversion is extremely impressive. Already the first blick on the CF1 makes it clear that it cannot be compared with the original. Of the radiator grill is specially made and also deeper that headlights, the apron and the trim are all specially made and a lot of decoration was made cleared

And, since the original C1 Corvette was built more for smaller people, something has also been changed in this regard. For example extended the doors for a better entry and exit. And also the cabin is enlarged. However, the wheelbase is identical to that of the original car. The seats in the interior are, however lowered and the pedals moved further forward to create more legroom. At the same time is the Windshield Shortened by more than 3 inches for a delicate look.

Our highlights, however, are the big ones 21- and 22-inch Forgeline chrome rims with the ultra-thin Low-profile tires. So that the new rounds fit in the wheel arch, the Front and rear fenders adjusted accordingly. And then there is the engine. And here comes the tuner Lingenfelter Performance Engineering in the game. The boys and girls have been known for modifying and building Corvettes and Corvette engines for decades. And that's why Dave Kindig's team installed one in the CF1 Lingenfelter V8 With "Borla 8-Stack Injection" and LS3 heads on one LS7 block. The engine was of course still individually tuned and now performs well 673 PS and 837 NM torquewhich he acoustically over a Borla sports exhaust system gives away.

modern technology, partly installed invisibly

Incidentally, the Vette is switched using GM automatic transmission and the load is braked with a Disc brake system from Wilwood Engineering front and back. Let us transmit the tremendous power by means of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The complete Carbon fiber body was by the way Doug's performance Corvette's manufactured and enables the roadster to weigh only 1.372 kg to bring on the scales. There are even included full tank, the hidden integrated Kicker audio system, the Vintage air heating and air conditioning or send them Dakota Digital Adswhich are of course only specially made for this vehicle.
