The Chrysler Pacifica is a practical and spacious minivan that is perfect for families. But what if you gave it a 6,2-liter supercharged V8 engine from the Dodge Demon, which put out a crazy 1.514 HP (1.535 hp) as a tuned version? That's the crazy idea of SpeedKore, an American tuning company specializing in the manufacture of carbon parts and the installation of powerful engines in vehicles of all kinds. SpeedKore has teamed up with the digital artist Abimelec design designed a virtual study of a Chrysler Pacifica called "Baba Yaga", named after a monster from Slavic folklore that devours children. By the way, the idea had been announced well over a year ago, at that time also with virtual images of Abimelec.
SpeedKore Chrysler Pacifica
The Pacifica "Baba Yaga" is not only equipped with a demon engine, but also with a complete body kit made of carbon fiber, which includes significantly wider fenders, a powerful hood opening, a more aggressive front apron and tailpipes centrally located in the rear apron. According to SpeedKore, the Pacifica “Baba Yaga” is designed for setting lap records, burning tires and getting your pulse racing. It's also said to be a good 1000 pounds (0,45 t) lighter than a standard Pacifica, which has a modest 3,6-liter V6 engine that makes 296 horsepower.
The Demon V8 is upgraded by Speedkore with the "Lilith Pack", named after the primeval mother of demons. The package brings the supercharged Hemi to a whopping 1.514 HP and forwards it to the Michelin-tired SRT wheels via an eight-speed ZF transmission.
Whether the SpeedKore Chrysler Pacifica will come?
SpeedKore has not yet specifically announced whether they will actually build the Pacifica "Baba Yaga". But it's not the first time the company has come up with such wild creations. SpeedKore has already set up several Dodge Challengers and Chargers with carbon fiber bodies and extreme performance upgrades. We hope that the Pacifica “Baba Yaga” will be a reality soon, because it would be the ultimate minivan for all petroleum dads and moms.
