The SpeedKore Performance Group once again cut one out. That on Restomod vehicles specialized company has that 1968 Dodge Charger mid-engine Movie car simply recreated by Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) from F9 (Fast & Furious). And after many years of creating fantastic custom projects with a front engine, this vehicle is also a first for Speedkore. Because a restomod with mid-engine SpeedKore has never been seen before. And the one-off even has one street legal for the US, in contrast to Toretto's movie car from F9, the ninth installment in the Fast & Furious series. The vehicle is officially called "Hellacious“And is also based on one 1968 Dodge Charger. And it got extremely extensive modifications to almost every component in order to be there as it is the case.

"Hellacious" 1968 Dodge Charger

First and foremost, the tuning experts at SpeedKore had to have a tailor-made one Engine frame think up and build the one mounted behind the front seats 6,2 liter V8 Hellcat engine (Crate Engine) can record.

The V8 got a special one, of course Sports exhaust system from Magnaflow and in the front of the charger is a Saldana performance cooler installed and an additional fat one CBR high-performance intercooler sits in the back, around the 2,4 liter supercharged to be supplied with fresh air. In combination with a few other changes, the supercharged V8 engine performs 717 PS and 881 Newtonmeter torquethat have one out of one Manual transmission removed from Lamborghini Gallardo get to the rear wheels. Incidentally, the whole load is slowed down with one Six-piston brake system with perforated discs and red painted calipers on the front axle and four-piston calipers at the rear. The discs are also perforated at the rear and the saddles are painted red. Take care of that QA1 damper for optimal cornering.

Central locking rims with wing nuts

Of course, the system comes from the company Brembo. This is how the mighty ones claw their way 275 / 35 R18 Front tires and the XXL slippers in the format 345 / 35 R18 rear including HRE Performance Wheels Central locking rims with wing nuts radically into the asphalt. A hydraulic handbrake the optimal drift angle with the Hellacious. And of course we cannot go unmentioned the unbelievable look. The SpeedKore Hellacious is an almost exact replica of Dom's movie car that doesn't even have a detail of the Widebody body misses. You can see the fat ones widened fenders all around, there is one glass tailgate for the ultimate view of the engine compartment and of course the front is also with the hidden headlights available. In addition, the vehicle is in a gloomy one Glasurit black wrapped. By the way, as usual, this SpeedKore setup uses a complete one Carbon fiber body (by Sean Smith Designs).

a crazy soundscape in the interior is guaranteed

There are special ones in the interior leather seats with a particularly low backrest and Simpson racing harnesses, an integrated Roll bar, Leather sports steering wheel, new classic Circular displays, a lot of Aluminum details and only one pane separates the cabin from the engine compartment. A certain Working temperature of the V8 can certainly not be avoided in the cabin, not to mention a crazy soundscape. The open one Superlite shift gate but easily compensates for that. And finally ... an unbelievable project that was realized in an astonishingly short time. If we get more information, there will of course be an update for this report.
