We find the idea and implementation so successful! What is it about? The cool Citroën Type H Classic look, which can now be fitted to modern Citroën vehicles with a van body kit on request. Fabrizio Caselani went public with the modern interpretation of the classic Citroën Type H a few days ago and makes it possible for lovers of the classic to carry out a conversion on a current Citroën Jumper.
After unveiling the larger Space Tourer-based model in 2017, the company showed a smaller and even cuter HG kit for the Space Tourer and Jumpy Transporter at Modena Motor Gallery 2020 last month. The basic concept is pretty much the same. The outer panels can be fitted to the body of the van without major modifications and when all the parts are fitted the look of the old Type H is unmistakable. Especially when you look at the big round headlights.
Citroën Type H Classic Style
The company will offer the Type HG in various lengths and body styles and there are currently five different core models to choose from. These include electric vehicles, classic passenger cars, vans and the common types with combustion engines. There are three lengths for each type – XS, M and XL, with room for up to 8 passengers depending on the configuration.
The project for the new Type H was created in 2017 when Fabrizio Caselani presented the larger model, designed and developed in collaboration with David Obendorfer. The price for the transformation kit is currently 14.800 € for the kit itself and the assembly including painting, regardless of the selected length and the selected body type.
