In the summer 2018 has the Japanese tuner Kuhl Racing a first to Bodykit for the Nissan Leaf (ZE1) presented, Barely half a year later, the time has come and the Japanese show an impressively rebuilt Nissan Leaf. And the development of the accessories has a very specific reason. After all, the Nissan LEAF 2018 was the best-selling electric car in Europe and a big part of it has the competitive price of under 37.000 €. For 2019 there is even the limited edition model Leaf Zero e + which promises more power and range. In addition, there is an improved equipment and a design that is much less playful compared to its predecessor. Reason enough for the tuner to take the foreseeable success a bit far.

The electric car with the Kuhl Racing Bodykit gets even sharper visually. The Leaf was presented at the last Osaka Auto Show 2019 (Date: 9. Feb. 2019 - 11. Feb. 2019) and there were already the first orders. The tuner developed a discreet spoiler lip with flaps on the right and left which skilfully put the striking front apron in scene. And the delicate sill swords are also part of the Kuhl racing body kit. They provide a dynamic side view of the Leaf. The highlight of the new aerodynamic parts is definitely at the rear. There is a huge diffuser with huge fins and also the roof spoiler comes from the Japanese tuner. Fortunately, you have waived fake tailpipes what we would trust the Japanese quite.

On the other hand, you have not renounced a new wheel set and a significant lowering. The rims are VERZ Wheels alloy wheels in the classic 5 spoke design which are mounted on the driver's side with rim star in silver, on the passenger side with rim star in gold. In both cases, the Alurad comes with high-gloss chrome-plated rim beds and equipped is the wheel with tires from the house Falken, And as already mentioned, there was also a lowering. The Kuhl Racing Leaf is due to an Airride air suspension so deep on the ground that the wheels dive especially at the rear in the wheel arch. At the push of a button, however, the Stromer can be raised to a normal level within seconds.

Thus, unsightly damage to the new body kit can be avoided. The exhibition vehicle of the Osaka car show also got an elaborate airbrush on the hood and finally a complete painting (possibly foiling) in a dark metallic red. Small details such as the chrome-plated door handles as well as the darkened windows round off the leaf skilfully.
