As is well known, there are almost countless versions of various widebody kits available for the current Ford Mustang GT. As an example I want there Alphamale Performance, TruFiber or Stage 3 performance to name. And the "Fiberglass Mafia", from Sanford in Florida, would like a piece of the cake and has also developed its own widebody kit, which, like the variants linked above, is also screwed onto the body. The accessories consist of massively flared front and rear fender flares, a large front splitter, a rear diffuser, a rear duck-tail spoiler, new side skirts, and a hood with air intakes.
Widebody kit & 6GR Alus
In addition to the body kit, the GT also got a set of Project 6GR Wheels (approx. 20 inches) from Need 4 Speed Motorsports and, of course, a significant lowering. There's not much more to say about the car at the moment, so we'll leave it at the photo story. If we get more information about other modifications made to the Mustang GT, there is of course, as always, an update for this post. These are the changes to the Ford Mustang GT:
- Fiberglass Mafia widebody kit (solid flared front and rear fender tops, front splitter, rear diffuser, duck-tail rear spoiler, side skirts, hood with air intakes)
- Set of Project 6GR Wheels (by Need 4 Speed Motorsports, silver, approx. 20 inches)
- yellow calipers
- Lowering (coilover suspension, airride air suspension - more information is not available)
- darkened / tinted windows
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
