The USA is known to be the land of unlimited opportunity, where everything is at least two sizes bigger. This is of course also the case on the road, because small cars are practically impossible to find. Instead there are huge SUV models and pick-up trucks, with which you can hardly get through the narrow inner cities in Europe. The pickup and off-road combination is particularly popular in the States, which is why today we are introducing you to a Ford MegaBronc by MegaRexx that is currently for sale on eBay in the US for an astronomical $169.950.
Bronco front and pickup chassis!
It's surprising that Ford itself hasn't come up with the idea of launching a hardcore off-road pickup based on the current Ford Bronco. With the Wrangler-based Gladiator, Jeep finally delivered the ideal template for an off-road pickup. The vehicle we presented originally came off the assembly line as the Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab Lariat. Then he got a new name as well as a new one Front, which is inspired by the current Ford Bronco. A special one Painting in lithium gray as well 20-inch alloy wheels with a black finish also found their way to the colossus. 40 inchoff-road tires, a Höherlegung by 4,5 inches (approx. 11 cm) on the front axle and a whopping 5 inches (approx. 13 cm) on the rear axle, ensure optimum off-road capability. Various suspension modificationsas Dana 60 axes also found their way to the monster truck. Other modifications are LED position lights on the roof, fender flares all around as well as one Fullbox made of fiberglass.
Modifications were also made in the interior.
Auch im Cockpit the vehicle experienced various changes, albeit few. The majority is series. This includes blacks leather seats with micro-perforation, with heating and ventilation, an electric Panoramic sunroof, a heated one Steering wheel, a keyless Access including remote start function as well as a Backup camera. A highlight of the vehicle, however, are the Sright now in the third row, which come from a Ford Expedition.
A gigantic diesel engine powers the monster!
The 6,7 liter V8 diesel engine with turbocharging 475 PS and gigantic 1.424 Newtonmeter maximum torque. The power is transmitted via a Ten speed automatic on all four wheels. This means that the vehicle is not held up by anything or anyone, even on difficult terrain. And finally ... An American dream that only has 448 miles (721 km) on the clock. Something like this is rare to find and certainly an absolute must-have for any US car fan who can afford the car. We give it a thumbs up for that.
