And now it has one Land Rover Series II Caught. The decades-old off-road icon has been extensively developed by the team at Himalaya 4×4 restauriert and modified and now comes up with modern technology and a flawless design. Land Rover Series II restomod

The Restomod specialist recently presented the new project, based on a Series II vehicle. The unique is in powder blue (powder blue) painted and previously received a comprehensive restoration as well as robust components from the present. At first and second glance, however, you don't really see the modern technologies in and on the vehicle. Because the simple design belies it. But under the sheet metal, the classic is a sly old dog. Because there is a strong one working in the bow LV3-V6 from General Motors. According to Himalaya, the engine performs well 300 PS and besides, it's on Six-speed automatic (6L80-E) coupled by GM. There was also a brand new one for the off-roader Fox off-road chassis and the Land Rover is also on one coil spring chassis. Himalaya tuned the suspension specifically for the terrain. And for a befitting delay, there was another one Wilwood brake system installed and in front of it sit steel rims painted in body color with powerful Off-road tires.

$ 250.000 to $ 300.000

According to owner Greg Shondel, the vehicle is particularly suitable for off-road tours in "warm areas with tropical climates". The look of the vehicle is extremely clean and unfussy and especially details like the short Body, the upright one Windshield or the sharp ones lines catch the eye. And also an eye-catcher is next to the full-fledged Spare wheel at the stern the simple Interior. Seats were covered by Himalaya with hard-wearing, high-quality chestnut leather, which can also withstand a rain shower. There was also an integrated Alpine sound system with Bluetooth connectivity and a beautiful one Aluminum steering wheel with wooden wreath. However, a Himalaya 4×4 Land Rover does not come cheap. Prices between 250.000 and 300.000 US dollars are completely normal. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report.
