Reading time 3 Min.

Automobili Pininfarina presented its latest innovation – a car collection called the “Capsule Collection“, and inspired by none other than Bruce Wayne, Batman's civilian alter ego. The collection includes the models B95 and Baptist, which are intended to capture the spirit of the Dark Knight with their very special design and outstanding performance. The two are available in two versions: Gotham and Dark Knight. The Gotham version is characterized by a cabin in light brown Manager with special Quilting and matching Seams which creates an elegant and luxurious atmosphere. In contrast to this is the Dark Knight gearthose with black Alcantara, black Manager and black and gold contrasting seams has a dark appearance.

The appearance deserves special attention. The Gotham Baptist shines with one Painting in Argento Vittorio and a roof in Nero Torino, supplemented by 20-inch aluminum at the front and 21-inch at the rear. The legendary Pininfarina logo is also backlit in brushed and polished anodized aluminum. The Dark Knight, on the other hand, relies on one Painting in Nero Profondo, but also with a roof in Nero Torino, and has the same high quality, ceramic polished finish Rims included. Both are driven by one thing Lithium-ion battery with 120 kilowatt hours, which in turn has four electric motors with a hefty total output of 1.900 PS dines. The power allows the B95 and the Battista to perform in under two seconds from 0 to 100 km/h to accelerate - a feat worthy of superheroes.

$2,2 million to $4,8 million

And the technology on board is also inspired by the world of superheroes. The screens have technical improvements from Wayne Enterprises and voice acting reminiscent of Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne's butler. And Pininfarina also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to aerodynamics: the Battista has new ones Shark fins on the tailgate and Blind openings as well as rear Carbon wing, which are not only functional, but also underline the design. Finally, it can be said that owning such a racer requires a fortune - prices start at $2,2 million for the Baptist and reach up to $4,8 million for the B95. But cars are guaranteed to be more than just a means of transport; they are a statement of luxury, performance.
