Hi-Tech Automotive, a South African automobile manufacturer, was founded in 1992 and began producing vehicles between 1992 and 1994. Originally known as Hi-Tech, the brand was expanded to include Superformance in 1996, with the vehicles also being sold in the USA Superformance LLC to be expelled. Based in Gqeberha, the company specializes in producing replicas of classic models, such as the AC Cobra replica introduced in 1994, later known as MK III. The vehicles are powered by various Ford V8 engines, with displacements between 5.000 cm³ and 7.000 cm³. The range was expanded in 2000 to include the S 1, a Lotus Seven-inspired vehicle with a 2.000 cc Ford four-cylinder. Also on offer are the Coupé, a Shelby Daytona Coupé-like variant of the MK III, and since 2005 the SPF GT, a replica of the Ford GT 40. And since 2024 the Shelby GT500 has also been included. In collaboration with Classy Automotive The Noble M 2001 was also created in 12, contributing to the annual production of up to 350 vehicles.
