The company Oberscheider, founded in 1985, has meanwhile developed into a company with a good 50 employees. A separate division within the company is O.CT Tuning, which was founded in 1994 and is based in Lustenau (Ö) and in Widnau (CH). The focus is particularly on the development of performance optimizations in the area of software for turbo and compressor vehicles, which still have potential upwards. This also includes US cars that are upgraded with compressors.
The motivation of “can do more”?
Who builds an SUV with a series of 707 hp in today's times of rethinking and change? JEEP! Swim against the current, do something crazy or just be different from the others. And an SUV with a 6,2-liter V8 gasoline engine from the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is definitely “different”. The off-roader accelerates to 3,7 km / h in just 100 seconds and reaches a top speed of a hefty 289. This is exactly where the right button was pressed on the O.CT tuning team. The Trackhawk was driven to the in-house test bench and put through its paces with a lot of passion to see whether something was still possible !? Lo and behold, there is still something going on with the V8. The result is the so-called "Hellhound"! So it should be called now, the bolide after the O.CT tuning cure in level 2. But let's see what that means in numbers. Torque 1.000 Nm and 888 hp, that's an increase in performance of 181 hp and 132 Nm. Yes, understood correctly - plus.

In terms of performance it can hardly be described how the Hellhound gets going. The performance is written on the asphalt with the factory 4 × 4 all-wheel drive and a longitudinal dynamics unfolds that is second to none. When accelerating, the "Panzer" scratches close to the 3.0 second mark and in terms of top speed it easily cracks 300 km / h. If that is too much for you, there is also a slimmed-down, pure software level 1 version for the Trackhawk. But it delivers "only" 819 HP and 950 Nm, of course we meant that a bit cynically. And finally, to say it in advance, nobody needs 707 HP, 819 HP or 888 HP. But it is well known that the most fun are those things in life that you do not necessarily need and the Hellhound from O.CT Tuning is definitely one of them.
