And once again Kaege Automobile GmbH from Stetten (Germany) has managed to create an absolutely unique piece. The KAEGE RETRO Classic Black 741 "No 03" is a 320 hp Porsche 911 that was restored to the condition of a new car and was recently published with a video and many pictures on the tuner's website. Kaege speaks of having created a liaison of F-model optics with the technology of the 741 with the "Classic Black 993", which should particularly convince with the individual detail design. Under the hood, a 3.8 liter air-cooled six-cylinder with an impressive 320 hp that reaches a top speed of 280 km / h and is coupled to a custom-made exhaust system thunders.

The 911 weighs only 1.190 kg empty weight which could only be achieved by means of state-of-the-art carbon components. With an acceleration of 0 to 100 km / h in just 5 seconds, it is on par with a current Porsche 718 Cayman (Type 982) with 6-speed manual gearbox that requires 5,1 seconds for this discipline. Only with the difference that the KAEGE RETRO Classic Black 741 looks much better. The Kage 911 comes as a perfect interpretation of the classic F-model on the technical base of the popular Porsche 993 (1993 to 1998). Impressive as Kaege has managed, despite the different body dimensions, that F-Design unmistakably integrate. The preservation of the authentic proportions and the very own details allow the homage to the classic with the typical Kaege DNA.

On the one hand, the small details in the form of chrome trim, new bumpers, modern LED lights front and rear and the chic tank and oil cover for nostalgic perfection, on the other hand, there are state-of-the-art carbon components (Front spout, side skirts, trunk etc.) which, by the way, ensure a weight saving of over 100 kilograms compared to an original 993. This gives the Restomod Oldie a contemporary lightweight construction which is noticeable in vehicle handling and even in consumption. And the individual details drag into the wheel arches. Kaege installs a 17 inch large three-piece aluminum wheel in the classic Fuchsfelgen design with integrated coats of arms that allows a small view of an improved performance brake system with perforated brake discs and black painted calipers.

And of course the cabin with the chic retro advertisements including Kaege lettering, the black piano lacquer and the classic sports steering wheel is handmade and individually designed down to the last corner. In our opinion, the highlight here is the air conditioning and the perfectly integrated high-end car radio. Both components sit in the dashboard and are optimally integrated into the interior design. The "Kaege No 03" is once again proof that you can perfectly combine nostalgic optics with modern components if you just want to.
