Are you irritated by the headline? If so then SORRY! My first impression when I saw the big Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe from the tuner Platinum Cars GmbH from Switzerland was just this! This is not meant at all badly, but as you know we already like to write what we think from time to time 😉 Pitch black, extremely expensive, mega elegant and especially bitterly angry from behind would be a few additions that optimally describe the C217 Coupe. And the tuner didn't even have to put in a lot of effort. The main focus is of course on the approx. 20 inch matte black ADV.1 Wheels wheelset with copper-colored rim beds and the fact that all chrome details have been replaced by black. The tinted taillights and the black grille also contribute to the evil look. Changes like the black Mercedes star with the silver arms (is that called that?) show that especially the small things often make the difference.
The team around Platinum Cars GmbH (Switzerland) has released the S63 Coupe the days and we are of course pleased to be able to show you the pictures of this pitch black project. After the extensive tuning cure that the S63 AMG was allowed to endure, it is now visually significantly changed, more individual and more dynamic than the production version, without being over the top or even looking chubby. So if you have been secretly thinking of buying a Mercedes S-Coupe for a long time, or if you are already a happy owner, Platinum Cars GmbH is certainly an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model. And for all those who are not necessarily based in Switzerland (Winterthur), the vehicle may serve as a tuning template for the local tuning partner.
As far as the further changes to optics or technology are concerned, we have tried to find out the most important details. - Mercedes star in black with silver arms
- Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilover suspension, with standard air suspension possibly by adjusting the electronics - more information is not available)
- darkened / tinted windows
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
