Mercedes-Maybach GLS by MANSORY

For many years, the vehicles of the southern German premium brand Mercedes and their off-road products have been an integral part of MANSORY's product portfolio. In particular, the conversions and refinements of the Mercedes G-Class in various variants became icons worldwide and are still enjoyed today an unbroken, even steadily increasing popularity with customers all over the world.

With the market launch of the Mercedes-Maybach GLS, the Stuttgart off-road vehicle specialists are now making another luxury SUV available as a basis for further refinements, which has the potential to continue this success on a second track and to continue MANSORY's long-standing success story with the refinement of Mercedes- expand products.

As with the versions of the Mercedes G-Class, MANSORY is now also refining the Mercedes-Maybach GLS. Its refinement is carried out up to a complete conversion, which - depending on the customer's request - includes all classic core competencies of the house MANSORY:

In the area of ​​design, almost all body components are either made entirely of carbon or upgraded with carbon applications. The customer can access all carbon variants that MANSORY offers in its extensive carbon portfolio, which includes four different collections with a total of 10 different designs.

And all of these carbon variants are - the connoisseurs of the MANSORY brand have known about this fact for years and appreciate it very much - manufactured in the in-house autoclave and implemented in an impressive manufacturing quality, as only the engineers and designers from MANSORY thanks to their many years of experience on this master a high level.

The front of the "Mercedes-Maybach GLS by MANSORY" is upgraded in the apron area with an integrated front lip, LED daytime running lights, side flaps and air outlets made of carbon. The complete front grill including its vertical bars is either left as standard, subtly darkened on request or made entirely of carbon. A chrome impact protection bar can also be installed on request.

On the flanks, subtle MANSORY extensions ensure impressive styling and a new, holistic design approach. In addition, these changes make the "Mercedes-Maybach GLS by MANSORY" appear significantly stronger, lower and stretched. Mirror caps made of carbon complement the view from the side and once again show MANSORY's high level of competence in the processing of this material.

The rear apron with diffuser, which is also made entirely of carbon, skilfully sets the scene for the two twin tailpipes of the sports exhaust system and the centrally mounted third brake light. If desired, a chrome impact protection bar can also be installed at the rear – and analogous to the front.

With a powerful increase in performance, the automotive couturier also intervenes in the heart of the vehicle. The scope of this engine upgrade includes a modified ECU unit for engine control, new turbochargers and a completely new sports exhaust system with high-performance catalytic converters. Thanks to the impressive performance data of now 820 hp (603 kW) and 980 Nm, the acceleration and elasticity of the "Mercedes-Maybach GLS by MANSORY" are improved more than sustainably and extremely impressively for a vehicle of this size.

0 at 100 km / h in just 4,4 seconds

The top speed of the luxury off-roader increases to (limited) 300 km/h and the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is reduced to 4,4s. An engine cover in carbon also visually complements the technical changes in the engine compartment. In this context, it must be explicitly emphasized that the focus was not only on increasing the engine performance of the engine, but also on a significantly increased, powerful torque that is available at all speeds.

In order to bring this additional power onto the road in a sovereign and at the same time comfortable way, glossy black forged wheels of the type "V.6" in the size 10 x 24 inches are mounted all around on the "Mercedes-Maybach by MANSORY". Thanks to its special aluminum alloy, this particularly light forged wheel is not only approved for increased speeds, but also for high wheel loads. MANSORY recommends high-performance tires in size 295/35 R24 on the front and rear axles as the best tires.

Only the finest materials find their home in the completely new leather-upholstered interior and elegantly reflect the high standards of comfort, luxury, but also restrained sportiness. In addition, the MANSORY upholstery shop and its interior specialists offer not only a new leather-carbon sports steering wheel, carbon inserts and leather inserts with 3D embossing in the seats and doors, but also precisely embroidered MANSORY lettering on the seat surfaces and the floor mats and thus set additional accents.

In this way, all the components of this MANSORY complete conversion on and in the vehicle are stylishly combined to form a perfect symbiosis of luxurious flair and the maximum lifestyle demands of its discerning customers from all over the world.
