Further up than with the 670 PS & 1.000 NM torque (limited) strengthen M 279 E 60 AL - V12 is it in the R230 SL as we do not know! Nine years after its introduction, the SL 350 AMG Black Series, limited to 65 pieces, is still an absolute dream car par excellence for many and definitely for me ☺. Huge front bumper with heavy air intakes, a bonnet that also has air vents, massively widened front fenders and rear side walls as well as a fixed large rear spoiler make the visual difference to the "Normal" AMG off. If you want to treat yourself to this look for your "old" SL, you can, for example, by Prior Design Black Edition 2.0 widebody kit block and everything looks like the V12 Monster! But what if that is not enough and you want to own a unique piece? Then you go to the Californian tuner, for example Platinum Motorsport and asks the brothers Keshisyan what they have for an idea for a distinctive look?
The result is this Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG which has got the look of the rare SL65 Black Series but if you look closely you can see that everything is even more intense. The template was clearly the open 670 hp temptation from Stuttgart, but you always put something on top. Bumpers, flared fenders, bonnet, diffuser etc. all look like Black Series and are still absolutely unique because on the one hand they are handcrafted and, as already mentioned, a number more extreme everywhere. The complete body kit is of course made of ultra-light carbon and while the widenings for the fenders or the rear bumpers are kept in the vehicle color, the rear diffuser, rear spoiler, front splitter or the struts of the radiator grille can shine in the chic carbon fiber. Another highlight are the Agetro alloy wheels, which are completely unknown in our realms, but are perfect for the SL63 AMG and fill the wheel arches down to the last millimeter with lush 10,0Jx20 and 13,0Jx20 inches. Through the spokes you can also see the new Brembo brake system with red painted brake calipers, which ensures improved deceleration. Of course, the performance of the V8 biturbo must not be left untouched either, and so the engine now pushes 560 hp to the rear wheels thanks to chip tuning, which also makes a difference to the series. The SL63 AMG from PLATINUM Motorsport is definitely an unmistakable one-off and should cause a sensation and head turning at every corner. If we get more information about the modifications to the SL63 AMG, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. - Agetro aluminum rims (type M140, 10,0Jx20 with 275 / 30 ZR20 tires and 13,0Jx20 with 325 / 25 ZR20 Continental Sport Contact2 rear)
- Brembo brake system (painted red)
- Lowering by means of KW components in the standard AMG ABC chassis
- Performance increase on 560 PS
- Sport exhaust system (more information is not available)
