The Tuningschmiede Lorinser from Waiblingen (not far from Stuttgart) has us in December his body kit and other changes for the Mercedes C-Class W205 presented. So nothing new until then and so this C400 doesn't really show anything else. The change, compared to the version from December 2014, took place under the hood of the 3,0-liter V6 engine. The engine receives a tuning cure on tight 389 PS and 580 NM torque, which means an increase of 56 PS and 100 NM. The tuning team around Lorinser has on this Mercedes C400 4MATIC made the changes below:

  • Basis: Mercedes C-Class C400 4MATIC
  • Aerodynamic package (sportier bumpers front and rear, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, black front grille with Lorinser logo)
  • Five-spoke alloy wheels
  • Sport exhaust system with four tailpipes
  • Performance increase of the 3,0 liter V6 engine to 389 PS and 580 Nm (+ 56PS and 100 Nm)
  • unknown lowering by an estimated 20mm (possibly using a lowering module for Mercedes models with Airmatic and ABC chassis)

If we have forgotten something you notice, then just tell us in the comment box. Should we also learn in the near future, new details about this tuning conversion, we will inform you of course in this post.

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
