Mercedes GLC 63 S AMG Edition 1 from TopCar Design!

We have exciting news from the Russian tuner TopCar, which presents us with its next piece of jewelery after we recently talked about the chocolate brown Porsche 911 Turbo S. with a full carbon body kit. This time, however, the tuning is not about a sports car from Zuffenhausen, but about an SUV that leaves the factory just a few kilometers away and has a star in the grille. With this, the Russian tuning company proves that it not only knows how to create unique creations from super sports cars, but that it also has a high level of expertise in the SUV sector. The latest vehicle to leave the TopCar halls is a Mercedes GLC 63 S AMG Edition 1, which has been significantly revised and refined.

Restyling kit with many highlights!

Nicht nur die Vollfolierung In chrome silver with a PU paint protection film, in which you can reflect and which is supposed to pay homage to the legendary Silver Arrows of the early years of Formula 1, but also the extremely extensive one bodykit called "Inferno“Cause a stir. The kit was developed by TopCar itself, and ensures that the GLC, which comes as standard, steals the show, with its somewhat conservative and homely looking GLC. It comes with a new one apron including spoiler insert, a modified one bonnet as well as modified radiator grill.

The silhouette is made wider by fender and powerful sill It has a much more distinctive design and the vehicle is a few centimeters wider. At the rear of the SUV there is a strange looking one Spoilerthat was attached below the rear window and a diffuser rounds off the extroverted restyling kit. TopCar in Russia chose carbon as the material for all parts of the Inferno Kit and this is also clearly visible, as some parts made of carbon fiber were only coated with clear varnish in order to obtain the carbon fiber effect.

A bit strange, there is not a single Mercedes logo to be seen on the vehicle. All stars have been replaced by the TopCar logo or by lettering. But from our point of view, maintaining the standard wheels the most unusual measure on the GLC 63 S AMG Edition 1, because the TopCar portfolio has various individual rims that could also upgrade this vehicle even further. The factory rims have the format 9,5 × 21 inches ET30 and 10 × 21 inches ET28 and are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tires in the dimensions 265 / 40ZR21 and 295 / 35ZR21. Incidentally, behind it the calipers of the standard brake are painted petrol-colored.

The interior has been further refined!

As is well known, you don't have to change much in a Mercedes cockpit, because high-quality interiors have been one of the virtues of the brand with the star for decades. Nevertheless, TopCar insisted on a few finely worked-in ones decorative stitching to attach, and yellow Racing Harnesses to be installed that let a little racing flair move in. In the end, TopCar decided to make a major modification by doing the Infotainment system provided it with a software update, and also switched it to the Android operating system.

680 hp from a four-liter V8 biturbo gasoline engine

Anyone who thinks that the standard 510 PS and 700 Newton meters in the GLC are sufficient has done the math without TopCar. The tuning company increased the performance with the help of a Stage 2 remappings from the house Morendi, as well as some hardware adjustments (Air filter upgrade, new down and midpipes) on fabulous 680 PS. In addition, the AMG V8 now delivers an outstanding torque plateau of 900 Newton meters. Unfortunately, we do not know anything about the performance, and we also do not know whether the standard maximum speed limit of 250 kilometers per hour has been lifted.

Our Conclusion for the Mercedes GLC 63 S AMG Edition 1 from TopCar:

From our point of view, the GLC symbolizes a kind of abundance that you don't need, but would like to have! He has one Have-want effectthat you don't expect from a GLC! Especially the small details like the darkened ones headlights and tail lights we like it. We have added a picture gallery of the car to the article at the end of the post.
